Good health and good sense are two of life's greatest blessings. Health is a crown that the healthy wear, but only the sick can see.

Welcome to Health Reach
In 2024, Africa faces profound healthcare disparities. Remote communities lack access to quality care, skilled professionals are scarce, and the cost of healthcare remains prohibitive. These challenges demand innovative, holistic solutions.
At Health Reach, we're dedicated to empowering women by addressing not only their physical health but also their mental well-being. Our initiative is centered on the belief that true health encompasses serenity of mind as well as vitality of body. Backed by the African Women Business Union, Women United Foundation, and Africa's First Ladies, Health Reach is committed to transforming the lives of women across the continent.
Her Health. Her Community. Her Serenity.

INSIGHTS FROM AFRICA'S FIRST LADIES ON HEALTH

H.E. Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi
Democratic Republic of Congo
"Every maternal or neonatal death is a tragedy that could be prevented with a firm commitment to maternal and child health. If we want things to change, we must mobilize more of our efforts to prioritize the fight against maternal mortality because it is unfair to lose life in giving it. This is a fight for all of us."

H.E. Débora Katsia Carvalho
CAPE VERDE
"As First Lady of Cape Verde, I wholeheartedly support prioritizing women's health. When women are healthy and supported, they can thrive personally and contribute fully to our communities. It's about ensuring every woman has access to the care and resources she needs, empowering her to lead a fulfilling life and enrich our nation with her strength and resilience."

H.E. Fatoumatta Bah-Barrow
THE GAMBIA
"As a First Lady dedicated to improving women's health in Africa, I see the challenges women face firsthand. Many lack access to healthcare and face cultural barriers. We can fix this by building better healthcare systems, providing education, and empowering communities. When women are healthy, our whole society benefits. It's about giving every woman the chance to live a healthy, fulfilling life and contribute to our shared future."
Addressing Mental Health
In addition to providing essential healthcare services, Health Reach places a strong emphasis on mental health support for women. Here's how we're addressing serenity and mental well-being as part of our initiative.
Her Health. Her Community. Her Serenity.

Holistic Healthcare Approach: Health Reach adopts a holistic approach to healthcare that recognizes the interconnectedness of physical and mental well-being. Through integrated services, we address mental health alongside physical health, promoting overall wellness and serenity.
Community Support Networks: We're establishing community support networks that provide women with a safe space to share their experiences, seek guidance, and access resources for mental health support. These networks foster a sense of belonging and solidarity, promoting mental well-being at the grassroots level.
Empowerment Through Education: Health Reach empowers women with knowledge and tools to prioritize their mental health. Through educational workshops, counseling services, and awareness campaigns, we're equipping women with the skills to recognize and address mental health challenges proactively.
